Meet Alyssa Ahinger

Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Disability Studies from Chapman University in 2023. She is currently studying for her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School in Anaheim, CA. Alyssa grew up visiting her mother’s special education classroom and has worked with children with disabilities throughout the years, most recently as a one-on-one therapist for autistic children. She has loved the children and adults she has met and grown emotional at the growth she has witnessed them make. When she is not studying or working, Alyssa enjoys reading, playing video games with her friends, and spending time with her family and her pets. Above all else, she is passionate about understanding and elevating the voices, experiences, and livelihoods of individuals with disabilities. She is incredibly excited to express that passion and learn and grow as a member of the team at Albert Knapp and Associates!
